Capital Foods appoints S Raghunandan as chief executive officer

Mumbai-based food company Capital Foods, known for food brands such as Ching's Secret and Smith & Jones, has appointed S Raghunandan as the chief executive officer (CEO) effective February 7, 2022.

In a professional career spanning three decades, Raghunandan, an IIM graduate from Calcutta and a chemical engineer from BITS Pilani, brings in vast experience in leadership roles with leading Indian and multi-national organizations in the consumer space including Hindustan Unilever, Dabur India, Paras Pharmaceuticals and Reckitt Benckiser India.

In his last role he served as the CEO and director of Jyothy Laboratories.

Over the last few years, Capital Foods has achieved a well-rounded performance with pan-India presence across categories and enhanced production capacity with an increased geographic footprint under the chairmanship of its founder Ajay Gupta.
