Capgemini announced on June 24 that it has appointed Anne Lebel as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective July 20. She takes over from Hubert Giraud, who has moved to engineering and industrial consulting firm Altran subsequent to its acquisition by Capgemini earlier this year.

Anne has over two decades of experience in leadership development and talent management on a global scale, much of it in the financial services industry. Before joining Capgemini, she was Chief Human Resources Officer and Corporate Culture Officer for international investment bank Natixis from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, she was Global Head of Human Resources for Allianz Global.

Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini, who assumed his own role just a month ago, said: "Anne’s strong track record and rich experience in talent development and change management across large international teams, will help us to ensure we continue to build an agile culture of inclusivity and personal growth for all, while attracting the talent of tomorrow to meet the evolving needs of our clients in this digital world. I am delighted to welcome Anne to the Group.”

Capgemini has expanded its head count significantly in 2020, including a hiring spree in India and the Altran acquisition, which has brought it to a total of 270,000 employees worldwide.
