Digital advertising firm Blis announced this week that Emma-Jayne Owens, the Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, has been promoted to Managing Director of Asia Pacific. This adds the company's operations in Singapore, the Philippines, and India to her portfolio.

Owens joined Blis in November 2019 and, according to Blis Global Commercial Officer Dave King, has been "instrumental to the success of Blis in Australia and New Zealand during the past two years."

King said: "Asian markets are extremely important to Blis' future plans and we're excited to see EJ replicate her successes in the region. EJ's energy and passion combined with her incredible experience will be key to driving growth across our APAC markets."

Owens has extensive experience leading country and regional teams in digital, media, entertainment, and advertising. Prior to joining Blis, she was Chief Commercial Officer at the Australian Radio Network, and before that she was Group Sales Director APAC at Big Mobile, leading the adtech firm's commercial teams across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. She has also held positions at Nine Digital (previously Mi9) and Austereo.

Besides Owens' promotion, Blis also announced three other promotions: Alicia Placer to Head of Partnerships & Programmatic APAC, Henry Susanto to Head of Operations APAC, and Jack Dellecoste to Head of Client Services ANZ.
