The Procter & Gamble Company has announced the appointment of Stanislav Vecera as President of P&G Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMA).

He succeeds Magesvaran Suranjan who will retire from the company, after 28 years of service.

Vecera was previously Senior Vice President, P&G Japan. He also led P&G’s Environmental Sustainability board for the AMA region.

Vecera joined P&G over 31 years ago in the Czech Republic and has held positions of increasing responsibility while living and working across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia.

“I have no doubt Stanislav is the best possible candidate to continue our strong momentum as a Force for Growth and a Force for Good in the AMA region,” said P&G Chief Operating Officer, Shailesh Jejurikar.

Acknowledging the contribution of Suranjan, Jejurikar said, “From his beginnings as a Cost Analyst to his time as President, Suran has been an outstanding leader and business partner. He is a passionate advocate for P&G and will leave a lasting legacy, particularly in the growth acceleration of the AMA region and building best in class capabilities. I wish Suran and his family much happiness in his retirement.”

“We have built a reputation for accelerated growth throughout challenging operating conditions, while stepping up to support our consumers and communities especially in the areas of equality and inclusion, and environmental sustainability. I look forward to building on this great legacy and will be privileged to lead such an inspiring team every day,” added Vecera.

Vecera will be based in Singapore.
