Former Redmart CFO moves to ecommerce startup Pomelo

Pomelo, a fashion ecommerce startup has hired Jim Boland, the former CFO of online grocery platform, as their own CFO.

Casey Liang, co-founder of Pomelo and former CFO will now focus on enhancing the firm’s growth team. Liang will concentrate on building up the performance marketing and business intelligence teams apart from working with engineering, design and product teams. The co-founder’s focus will shift from finances towards accelerating customer acquisition and retention processes.

Boland’s responsibilities will include boosting the Bangkok-based firm’s financial infrastructure in order to enable fast growth in the region. With an experience of more than 19 years, Boland has held leadership positions at technology and ecommerce giants such as Amazon, Dell and Alibaba-owned Redmart.
