Fintech startup Branch appoints Sumith Sumithran as new Head of People, India

Personal finance tech start-up Branch International has announced the appointment of Sumith Sumithran as Head of People for their India operation. He joins from CleverTap, where he was leading the HR business partnering, operations, compensation & benefits and admin function.

In his new role, Sumithran will be responsible for driving the company’s people management strategy covering talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, performance management and diversity & inclusion.

Sumith holds a MBA from Alliance University, Bengaluru and is a Commerce graduate from Christ University, Bengaluru. 

Sumithran will be based in Mumbai.
