Americold Realty Trust appoints new CHRO

Americold Realty Trust traded REIT focused on the ownership, operation and development of temperature-controlled warehouses, announced Khara Julien as the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Announcing about the development, Fred Boehler, Chief Executive Officer of Americold Realty Trust, said, “We’re pleased to welcome Khara to the Americold tea. Khara brings a wealth of experience in human resources and will play a valuable role as we incorporate new team members in the coming years to support the Company’s growth. We look forward to leveraging her expertise in our ongoing efforts to attract talent, develop our leadership, and offer competitive benefits for our Global Associates.”

As a critical member of the senior leadership team, Julien will develop and drive all talent initiatives to support the business growth and direction. She will lead strategy for the development, attraction, onboarding and retention of high-caliber talent.

Julien brings nearly 20 years of human resources experience in the manufacturing and distribution industries to Americold. In her previous role as VP and CHRO for Gypsum Management & Supply (GMS), she successfully guided the company through more than 30 acquisitions, while taking GMS from private to publically traded on the NYSE in 2016. 

Julien graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned a Global Professional Human Resource (GPHR) certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute.
