The world is going through a sea of digitization as people and professionals struggle to manage their work-life while contemplating which vaccination to take. In the same world, a lot of churns are brewing as is evident from the movements of industry leaders across industries.

Here’s a quick look at some of the major leadership movements from July 2021 to September 2021.

July

Catriona Purfield- IMF appointed Catriona Purfield as Director - Human Resource at the world agency. She started her career at the Fund in 1998 and over the past 23 years, she has worked in multiple departments at the Fund—including the African, Asia & Pacific, Fiscal Affairs, European and the Middle East & Central Asia Departments—taking on increased leadership responsibilities. She succeeded Kalpana Kochhar, who retired post her tenure.

Katie Burgoon - Fusion Risk Management Inc. appointed Katie Burgoon as Chief Human Resource Officer. Previously, she was at Zego as their Chief Human Resources Officer. She has also held leadership roles at Infinium Capital Management, Trading Technologies, Citadel, and Cameo. 

Susan Balaguer- Parsons appointed Susan Balaguer as Chief Human Resource Officer. Her previous experience boasts of companies like SERCO Inc, Engility Corporation, CACI International Inc, ASRC Federal, VT Group plc.

Tatiana Berardinelli - Clariant hired Tatiana Berardinelli as Chief Human Resource Officer. Her previous work experience includes PPG Industries, Global Architectural Coatings, and Automotive OEM Coatings. 

Jacqui Canney- ServiceNow appointed Jacqui Canney as Chief People Officer at the company. She has previously worked at various companies including Arthur Anderson, Accenture Walmart WPP in various leadership roles.

Divya Shrivastava - GE Healthcare South Asia elevated Divya Shrivastava to Chief Human Resource Officer. Previously she was working as Total Rewards Global Processes Leader and Sales Compensation Strategy Leader at the company. She joined GE in 2011 and has been working with them for 10 years in various leadership roles.

Rachelle Carpenter- PointsBet appointed Rachelle Carpenter as Chief People Officer at the company. Her previous work experience includes DISH Network, Workforce Strategies, and has also held positions at General Electric.

Mahalakshmi R. - Mondelez International Inc. elevated Mahalakshmi R. from Head HR - India to  Chief People Officer at the company. Her prior work experience includes headlining people strategies at Airtel, Ranbaxy, Ballarpur Industries, EY, and AON.

August 

Sergio Ezama - Netflix hired Sergio Ezama as Chief Talent Officer at the company. Previously, he was serving PepsiCo for over two decades under diverse leadership and managerial roles. 

Anita Menon - Hubilo appointed Anita Menon as Senior Vice President, Culture and Talent. Previously, she had headlined people and talent strategies at Fresh Menu as Chief Human Resource Officer and has also worked with Sourcebit technologies in managerial roles.

Sunita Holzer- Verisk hired Sunita Holzer as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Previously, she worked at Realogy Holdings Corporation as EVP Chief Human Resources Officer. She has also served various leadership roles at a number of companies including, South Jersey Industries, Human Capital Insight LLC, DXC Technology, Chubb Insurance, JBWS, GE Express, and American Express.

Deanna Grams - TuneIn appointed Deanna Grams as Chief People Officer. Previously, she has held prestigious HR positions at Disney Interactive, Addis Creson, Publicis & Hal Riney, and Landor Associates. 

Deena Fox - Gorillas Technologies hired Deena Fox as their first-ever Chief People Officer at the company. Her prior work experience included leadership roles at multinational companies like Amazon, Hugo Boss, Jet, and Oscar Health.

September

Coreen Bone - North recently appointed Coreen Bone as Chief People Officer. Spanning over 20 years of experience, she has worked across a range of industries, holding executive roles at both Allvotec and Xerox Business Services.

Sophie Ames - ServiceMax recently hired Sophie Ames as Chief Human Resource Officer. Prior to ServiceMax, Ames worked at Veritas Technologies. Previously, she has also taken on many senior HR leadership positions at Avaya and Amdocs.

Deborah Woollard - MyRepublic appointed Deborah Woollard as Chief People Officer. Prior to MyRepublic, she worked at Cisco as Vice President Global Leadership and Team Development and also held senior roles at InterContinental Hotels Groups, Abbott, and Unilever.

Tee Siew Lee - TDCX hired Tee Siew Lee as Human Resource Director. Prior to this appointment, she was previously Head HR at CEVA Logistics Malaysia, and before that she was Deputy General Manager of Group Human Resources at Tan Chong Group.
