The first quarter of the FY 2021-2022 has seen many C-suite leaders looking for greater opportunities to spread their wings while few of them have persisted to rise within the ranks of their organizations.

The world is going through a sea of digitization as people and professionals struggle to manage their work life while contemplating over which vaccination to take. In the same world, industry leaders are planning two steps ahead to determine the path of their ascendancy while looking for solutions to reinvent the workplace paradigm.

Here’s a quick look at some of the major leadership movements from Q1 FY April 2021 to June 2021.

April

Eric Lim - UOB has appointed Eric Lim as its first Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). In the new role, he will lead a dedicated Corporate Sustainability Office and focus on achieving the Bank’s sustainability objectives of helping businesses to advance responsibly.

May

Kristen Ludgate - HP announced the appointment of Kristen Ludgate as Chief People Officer. She will lead HP’s global human resources organization, including employee experience, workforce planning, talent acquisition, people development and more.

Natalie Hausia-Haugen - Auth0 announced the hiring of Natalie Hausia-Haugen as Head of DE. She brings more than 15 years of industry experience and will be responsible for accelerating Auth0’s DEI vision, policies and processes.

Cheree Aspelin - Lubrizol has elevated Cheree Aspelin as the company’s first Chief Diversity Officer. She has been a tireless advocate for culture, diversity and inclusion throughout her career, most recently serving as senior director for Lubrizol’s culture and inclusion efforts.

Alex Pusenjak - Fluent commerce appointed Alex Pusenjak as the Global Head of People. He brings over 10 years of HR leadership experience to his new role at the company where his focus will be to create a world-class onboarding experience and implement a competitive global benefits program.  

Paul Richardson - The Walt Disney Company announced that Paul Richardson, has been named Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. He brings almost two decades of rich experience running human resources functions in entertainment and media to the organization.

June 

Will Clive - Pluralsight recently promoted Will Clive as the Chief People Officer. He held a number of positions in operations, strategy, and most recently HR as Vice President of People. According to the company, he played a key role in getting Pluralsight added to the 2020 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For list.

Serena H.Huang - Paypal recently hired Serena H. Huang as the Global Head of People Analytics & HR Tech. As a data analytics executive, Dr. Huang is passionate about leading change, building high-performing global teams and helping business leaders see data as an asset in large organizations.

Sheree Atcheson - ValTech announced the appointment of Sheree Atcheson, one of the UK's Top Most Influential Women in Tech, as Global Director of D&I. She has worked in many regions developing tailored, data-driven DE&I strategies, with clear goals and lines of accountability to embed success and inclusion that scales.

Devin Glenn - Blackstone announced that Devin Glenn has joined as Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). She will be a Managing Director, responsible for continuing to implement policies and initiatives that will help achieve a more diverse and inclusive workplace at Blackstone and its portfolio companies.

Raj Jones - Sodexo UK & Ireland has recently elevated Raj Jones as Head of Diversity & Inclusion. Previously, she was working as Diversity and Inclusion manager in the company since 2019. Her stints also include being a member of the D&I team  at London’s South Bank University.

Maryjo Charbonnier - Kyndryl has announced the appointment of Maryjo Charbonnier as Chief Human Resource Officer. She will oversee the company’s human resources strategy which is focused on culture and continued growth.

Stuart Robertson - Data management solutions provider AvePoint recently appointed Stuart Robertson the first ever Chief People Officer of the company. He has over 20 years' experience in HR leadership, specialising in talent management, leadership development, and internal mobility.
