Intel appoints leaders from Xbox and Apple

The technology company has roped in the Chief Architect of Xbox one and Apple's executive who has led multiple hardware technology teams.

John Sell who has worked on the chips for the Xbox One, Xbox One X, and the upcoming Project Scarlett, has now joined Intel.

As per his LinkedIn profile he is Fellow at Intel. He will be responsible for "Security for Intel Architecture, Graphics, and Software."

Sell joins the American MNC after working with Mircosoft for more than 14 years. Before Mircosoft, he has worked with companies like AMD and Apple.

As per a report, Sell will report to ex-AMD graphics guru Raja Koduri, Senior Vice President of the Core and Visual Computing Group at Intel and focus on architecture and security innovation.

Intel has made another hire and roped in Manisha Pandya who joins the company after working with Apple for 10 years.

In Apple, Pandya has led multiple hardware technology teams. These teams included those responsible for platform power delivery hardware for all Apple products, several sensor technologies, battery charging, analog IPs, and custom silicon.

Pandya will also be in Koduri's team and help with overall power and performance methodology.

"As we embark on an aggressive product and technology leadership roadmap, it’s critical we continue to invest in people, both internally and externally,” said Koduri.
